ALBATROSS COMPLIANCE

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) are a set of US government rules designed to prevent sensitive and ‘technical information’ related to defense technology from being accessed by non-US in order to safeguard US national security.

As a cloud provider in charge of hosting government and contractor related data, Albatross Cloud complies with all the Information Security standards issued under ITAR. This is achieved by hosting all in US Data Centers and restricting access to users into the systems outside of the United States. All employees with access to any system are solely US based employees on US territory.

How can my company achieve ITAR compliance?

Any customer that requires compliance with this regulation must indicate that prior to any hosting engagements.

Does my company need ITAR compliance?

It is your responsibility to verify if your hosted data requires ITAR compliance. All defense related items and services under the United States Munitions List (USML) are governed by this

ITAR requirement.
